The UL RT100L is designed for applications requiring gentle, uniform wetting and drainage evaluation. It produces a cohesive, sheet-like flow of water that falls steadily, making it suitable for luminaires and products where uniform surface wetting is required.
While the outer body may be identical to the RT100F, the RT100L is distinguished by its internal machining configuration.
Technical Distinction (Laminar Variant)
The internal insert avoids aggressive turbulence geometry.
Unlike the 60° helical configuration used in the Fan variant, the RT100L maintains a cohesive, controlled laminar flow, producing a curtain-like water sheet.
