Test Principle & Function
Servo-driven specimen turntable for drip box and oscillating tube tests. It runs continuously at 1 rpm or indexes the specimen through 4 × 90° positions synchronized with the test time of the drip box (IPX1/IPX2) or oscillating tube (IPX3/IPX4, method a). The controller can be synchronized with Dunel / Ormity drip box manifolds and water valves.
Also used for clauses 14.2.5 and 14.2.6 when the product standard requires it. When the specimen must be energized during the test, a sealed rotary power bus (slip ring) is available.
