Test Principle & Function
Shower-head spray nozzle (method B) for large or fixed specimens that cannot be tested under an oscillating tube. The head follows the hole pattern of IEC 60529 Fig. 5: 121 holes of Ø 0.5 mm – one central hole, 24 holes on the inner circle at 30° and 96 holes on the outer circle at 15°. The counterweighted moving shield is used for IPX3 and removed for IPX4.
Versions with a flow meter in the handle and an integrated pressure gauge make it easy to keep the 10 L/min flow during the whole test.

Accessories
Tripod support with nozzle holder bracket (DNSN529-205), analogue or magnetic flow meters and pressure gauges are available. Use demineralized or filtered water to keep the 0.5 mm holes clean.
