Test Principle & Function

The heated glow wire is pressed against the specimen with 1 N for 30 s; ignition, flame height, flame duration and ignition of the tissue paper underlay are recorded. Four automation levels. Manufactured in Canada by Ormity Inc.

Version GW1000 without hood (former ORTY695-2-400): mechanism, transformer and controls without enclosure, for installation in an existing draught-free chamber (≤ 20 lx).
