ORMITY WT250-DYNAM — DYNAMIC WIND SIMULATOR - High-performance closed-loop wind simulator for transient aerodynamic testing in
extreme cold. Dual synchronized motors (800–1,000 kW), programmable dynamic profiles, and arctic-grade components for challenging environments.

 

FULL DESCRIPTION:


The WT250-DYNAM is an advanced wind simulation system with a 2500×2500 mm test section, capable of continuous velocities from 5.6 to 36.1 m/s (20–130 km/h). Equipped with dual-anemometer closed-loop feedback and industrial PC controller certified for extreme
cold operation (–40 to –50°C).

 

The system enables dynamic wind profile simulation (ramps, steps, gusts) via 7" IoT
touchscreen HMI with continuous data logging and Modbus TCP/RTU export. Dual 400–500 kW motors with synchronized vector VFDs ensure load sharing and stability across the full velocity range. Ideal for arctic water-ingress testing, spray drift analysis, and
cold-soak aerodynamic evaluation.
