Same mass, two energiesIK09 and IK10 both use 5 kg but are different striking elements (IEC 60068-2-75 Table 1: D 80 mm for 10 J, D 100 mm for 20 J) dropped from 0.2 m and 0.4 m. 50 J (0.5 m) and 80 J (0.8 m) use the same 10 kg element with a different guide tube height; 80 J is outside the standard.

Test Principle & Function

Each version is a striking element plus its guide tube. Owners of the 10 kg element only need the 0.8 m tube to go from 50 J to 80 J. For pendulum use, see the pendulum hammer kits (DNPH068).
